Commissioned Illustrations

I design business logos for clients who wish to have a hand drawn image to represent their business. Aside from logo design, I’m open to all┬ásorts of┬ácommissioned work, so please let me know what you have in mind!

Deja vu Cafe exterior signage, Las Vegas, New Mexico.

This business logo was inspired by my client's gestural sculpture of an elongated woman. The original black & white charcoal drawing on paper was used for business cards, menus, and merchandise.

Acrylic on wood, 4ft. x 8ft., mounted on adobe building.

This logo was designed for a massage therapy practice in Portland, OR. My client wished to have the snakes of a caduceus wrap around a tree rather than a traditional winged staff to achieve a more organic feel for her work in healing people.

The original drawing was done in charcoal pencil in the style of an old etching, and embellishments and text were later added by a local graphic designer.

I designed this logo for the Irish-Americana musical band Horse Cult, based in Portland, OR. My client wanted the horses to be facing each other in a way that resembled an old Irish stone carving. The logo is influenced by art nuveau, art deco, mucha stained glass, and psychadelic styles, as well as Celtic designs.
