The pieces included in the Tram Series collection were inspired by the aerial tram at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, OR. This body of work was exhibited at the OHSU Student Center in May of 2010. I love combining man-made objects with organic shapes, and was really inspired by the architecture up on Marquam Hill. The OHSU community really embraced the show and invited me back to show my original pieces and prints for the tram’s 5 year anniversary celebration. Several of the drawings and paintings remain in the permanent collection at the Student Center.
